Biggest Airliner Airbus A380 Makes Its First Flight

The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger airliner on the globe today. It made its first flight on 27th April 2005 from Toulouse in France. This flight added a new way in to the field of transportation.

A European corporation Airbus, a subsidiary of EADS, manufactured this double-deck, wide-body, four-engine airliner ‘The Airbus A380’. The Airbus is offered in two models. The original configuration carries 555 passengers in a three-class configuration of the plane. Also in a single-class economy configuration with 853 passengers, 538 are carried on the main deck and 315 on the upper deck.

The A380-800 has a design range of 15,200 km, sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong for example, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 (about 900 km/h or 560 mph at cruising altitude).

It was built with an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architecture, which was first used in advanced military aircraft such as the F-22 Raptor.

Thus, with this new invention transportation module is getting modernized and advanced.
