The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger airliner on the globe today. It made its first flight on 27th April 2005 from Toulouse in France. This flight added a new way in to the field of transportation.
A European corporation Airbus, a subsidiary of EADS, manufactured this double-deck, wide-body, four-engine airliner ‘The Airbus A380’. The Airbus is offered in two models. The original configuration carries 555 passengers in a three-class configuration of the plane. Also in a single-class economy configuration with 853 passengers, 538 are carried on the main deck and 315 on the upper deck.
The A380-800 has a design range of 15,200 km, sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong for example, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 (about 900 km/h or 560 mph at cruising altitude).
It was built with an Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) architecture, which was first used in advanced military aircraft such as the F-22 Raptor.
Thus, with this new invention transportation module is getting modernized and advanced.
