A new brand of Audi is set to be launch in Geneva 2010 car show. This is Audi A1 e-tron, a super mini class car. It will be launched in two types of model:
- Three door A1 model
- Five door A1 sportback
The A1 e-tron Mini size cars are electric variant of the A1. They are equipped with two different type of engine.
- 1.4 liter petrol engine
- 1.6 liter diesel engine
Audi A1 has an electric motor with a continuous output of 45 kilo Watt. It also gives the mileage of 100 kilometers per 1.9 liters and show only 45 g/km CO2 emissions level. This car can hit the road with the speed of 60mph in just 60 seconds.
This small car is mainly designed for young urban dwellers. Survey report of car sale shows that there is a heavy response for mini class cars from the increasing urbanization populations. This will give a competition to the European countries cars.
